Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nWarehouse Supervisor__\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC\nYour role and responsibilities:\nProvides ongoing feedback to management and recommends improvements related to production line performance, organization, shifting priorities, and emerging critical issues.\nSupports management in executing staffing adjustments due to vacations, illnesses, equipment outages, or shifting production needs.\nReinforces team focus on achieving production volume targets, maximizing efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery.\nAssists management and shift teams with resource allocation, coordination of shift orders, and oversight of work plan execution across production lines.\nServes as the shift leader, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely resolution of technical, quality, and logistical issues.\nQualifications for the role:\n5+ years working in a manufacturing environment\nKnowledge of 5S - sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain\nKnowledge and use of necessary PPE\nAbility to use cranes or other lifting devices, as needed\nAbility to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed\nAbility to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs\nAbility to speak, read, and write the English Language\nBasic computer skills to be able to look up parts.\nAbility to maintain accurate hand-eye coordination and utilize both hands safely and efficiently.\nForklift operation required, including readiness to complete training on various forklift types.\nBasic mathematical skills\nBasic communication skills\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nLegal authorization to work in the US is required\nWhy ABB?\nABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
