Collaborating with colleagues and experts locally and across our global organization, you will contribute throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, validation, and implementation. Your technical skills and ideas will help us develop reliable and sustainable solutions, continuously improve the way we work, and contribute to a profitable and sustainable business\nThe work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDeveloping and designing electrical systems and power electronic solutions for demanding traction applications.\nSelecting and specifying electrical components and ensuring their optimal integration into products.\nCreating and maintaining electrical schematics as well as technical, design, and manufacturing documentation.\nSupporting the testing, validation, and commissioning of new products and solutions.\nCollaborating closely with Engineering, R&D, Purchasing, and Portfolio Management teams, providing technical knowledge throughout the product development process.\nSupporting customers and internal stakeholders in technical discussions and the development of effective solutions.\nContributing to continuous improvement by contributing ideas, challenging existing approaches, and enhancing products, processes, and ways of working.\nQualifications for the role:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Electronics, or a related field.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in electrical system design, power electronics, or related engineering areas.\nKnowledge of electrical schematics and technical documentation, including their development and maintenance.\nGood understanding of power electronics, electrical drives, and power supply technologies.\nGood analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.\nAbility to work on your own while effectively collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.\nFluency in English, both written and spoken.\nA self-motivated, improvement-oriented attitude with a focus on innovation and continuous development.\nNice to have:\nExperience with Zuken E3, EPLAN, or comparable ECAD tools.\nKnowledge of railway technology, rail vehicles, or traction applications.\nUnderstanding of rail vehicle architecture and electrical systems.\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
