Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProduction Supervisor__\nYour Responsibilities\nAssemble products per work instructions and drawings. Be able to identify rework mating parts as needed. \nEnsure equipment/instrumentation has current calibration. \nAcquire instruction sheets, product drawings, mating parts, shipping containers and \nhardware for production needs. \nPerform electrical and mechanical tests on products. Record test information & troubleshoot when necessary. \nSet up as required fixtures for assembly, mechanical, electrical, and leak tests. \nWire using electrical DWG’s all Switch Gear switches. \nPack to bill of material and audit shipments. \nHave computer skills to perform fault interrupter programming, control box, testing, retrieval of product drawings & work instructions. \nMaintain KBM data integrity, production records and associated paperwork. \nProper use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots, and others as applicable. \nAll other duties, as assigned. \nYour Background\nHigh School diploma or equivalent \nAt least one year of manufacturing experience preferred\nTechnical training preferred\nMechanical skills/ability, good organization skills, ability to read blueprints, and interpersonal skills \nAbility to use hand and power tools \nKnowledge of multimeters and continuity testers, preferred \nAbility to lift up to 45 lbs \nAbility to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions \nAbility to stand for 8 hours daily \nComfortable bending, twisting, reaching \nComfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment \nWhile hourly pay rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay starting at $19.25. 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday\nGo to myBenefitsABB.com and click on “Candidate/Guest” to learn more\nHealth, Life & Disability\nChoice between two medical plan options: A PPO plan called the Copay Plan OR a High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) called the High Deductible Plan. \nChoice between two dental plan options: Core and Core Plus\nVision benefit\nCompany paid life insurance (2X base pay)\nCompany paid AD&D (1X base pay)\nVoluntary life and AD&D - 100% employee paid up to maximums\nShort Term Disability - up to 26 weeks - Company paid\nLong Term Disability - 60% of pay - Company paid.
