The candidate must have experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), automation processes, and robotics. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues with machinery, electronic equipment, and automation systems. The technician should have knowledge or experience in PLC programming, be capable of performing programming routines, and adhere to standardized programming structure rules. A willingness to learn and continuously improve is essential.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDocument, identify, and organize electronic, electric, and other schematics.\nPerform day-to-day electronics, general electric, and pneumatic repairs for all manufacturing equipment.\nSupport test equipment maintenance and repair.\nTroubleshoot and repair electronic PC boards.\nCalibrate electronic instrumentation and equipment.\nPerform preventive maintenance on electronic equipment.\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nAssociate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Automation, or a related field.\nExperience:\nProven experience working with PLCs, automation processes and/or robotics.\nFamiliarity with PLC programming and simple programming routines.\nTechnical Requirements:\nGeneral knowledge of electronic technology, including:General analog electronic and digital electronic logic.\nBasic PLC concepts for hardware troubleshooting (ladder diagrams, sourcing & sinking concepts).\nInterfacing (ADC - Analog to Digital I/O and DAC - Digital to Analog I/O).\nInstrumentation and industrial electronics.\nAC/DC concepts and basic electronics communication.\nSerial and parallel communication.\nProtocols such as Modbus, OPC, BACnet, TCP-IP.\nExperience with electronic equipment tools (multimeter and oscilloscope use).\n\nBasic PC knowledge, including:Programming languages (C Language, Basic,).\nKnowledge of computer operating systems and applications.\nBasic knowledge of MS operating systems and MS Office.\n\nWhy ABB?\nWhat's in it for you\nWe want you to bring your full self to work-your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
