Each day, you will formulate plans and allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. Main stakeholders are Product Management, Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing..\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nProviding direction to the engineering tools team with a focus on functional safety, cybersecurity, on time delivery, quality, and margin improvement.\n\nEnsuring the projects/ operations value chain portfolio follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures and that the projects are closed as per the contract specifications.\n\nInitiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering / design capability and efficiency, utilize agile methodologies to reduce engineering lead time, and enhance functional safety and cybersecurity.\n\nDriving team performance to ensure that the deliverables are met on time and as per the set contract specifications and safety, cyber security, and quality requirements.\n\nQualifications for the role\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.\n\nAbility to demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in electrical distribution.\n\nYou are engaged in working with product engineering and/or engineering tools maintenance and development the Electrical Distribution market.\n\nHighly adept in ePlan or other electrical CAD, product configurators, and/or documentation automation.\n\nYou are passionate about project management, leadership, and mentorship.\n\nCandidates must already have work authorization to work in the US.\n\nMore about us\nABB is a pioneering technology leader in power grids, electrification products, industrial automation, robotics and motion, serving customers in utilities, industry and transport & infrastructure globally.
