Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nLocal Division ManagerYour role and responsibilities:\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver great customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your skills by working with customers to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite.\nThis role is contributing to the Automation - Marine & Ports division in Bangalore/Mumbai- India Region. Main stakeholders are Marine & Ports Operations and Maintenance Teams responsible for drive systems, automation services, commissioning, and asset reliability.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nContributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.\n\nEnsuring customer retention by delivering a positive customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.\n\nTaking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.\n\nCoaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.\n\nQualifications for the role:\nYou enjoy working with commissioning and maintenance activities in the Marine & Ports market.\n\nYou have 8 to 10 years of experience in drives or industrial automation service engineering.\n\nYou possess extensive knowledge of ABB drives / VFD drives or industrial automation.\n\nExperience of ACS6000, LV/MV switchboard/ VFD Service ABB products installation & commissioning will be added advantage.\n\nYou are interested in customer management and stakeholder management.\n\nEngineering Degree B.E/BTech- EEC, Electrical, Electronics or Diploma in engineering in any specialization is required.\n\nYou are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.\n\nMore about us:\nThe Marine & Ports Division serves the shipping and ports industries through its extensive portfolio of integrated systems and solutions that improve the flexibility, reliability and energy efficiency of vessels and container terminals.
