Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nService Team Leader__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.\nThe work model for the role is: On-site\nThis role is contributing to the MOSE-Motor and Generator Servicein Rayong \nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nPerform on-site inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and commissioning of motors and generators.\nConduct electrical and mechanical condition assessments of rotating equipment.\nExecute preventive and predictive maintenance activities in line with ABB standards and customer requirements.\nPerform diagnostic testing, including insulation, winding resistance, vibration, thermography, and condition monitoring.\nIdentify root causes of equipment failures and provide effective technical solutions.\nPrepare technical reports, test results, failure analysis, and maintenance recommendations.\nCoordinate and supervise technicians, subcontractors, and site activities while ensuring safe execution.\nEnsure compliance with safety standards and provide technical support to customers across various service locations.\n Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.\n2-3 years of experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning, or troubleshooting of motors, generators, or rotating equipment.\nGood understanding of electrical and mechanical principles related to motors and generators.\nKnowledge of AC/DC motors, induction motors, synchronous motors, generators, and associated systems.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.\nFamiliarity with vibration analysis, alignment, bearing assessment, insulation testing, and condition monitoring is an advantage.\nStrong commitment to workplace safety, with knowledge of LOTO, Permit to Work, and risk assessment practices.\nGood English communication skills, valid driving license, and willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours when required.\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
