Our customers operate across a wide range of sectors, including industry, commercial buildings and infrastructure. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer Medium Voltage who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes ownership and is eager to develop into a specialist.\nYour role\nAs a Field Service Engineer Medium Voltage, you will be responsible for maintaining, modifying, modernizing and troubleshooting ABB medium-voltage installations and products. You will work at customer sites throughout the\nNetherlands and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of their electrical installations.\nDon't have all the product knowledge yet? No problem. Through a comprehensive training program, we will develop you into a product specialist, enabling you to work independently and confidently in the field.\nWhat will you be doing?\nPerforming maintenance on medium-voltage installations and ABB products.\nInstalling, expanding and modernizing medium-voltage installations.\nExecuting retrofit and replacement projects.\nTroubleshooting and resolving faults and technical issues.\nAdvising customers on maintenance, optimization opportunities and technical solutions.\nWorking in accordance with applicable safety and quality standards.\nYou will mainly work at customer locations. Depending on project requirements and travel distance, occasional overnight stays may be required.\nYour team\nYou will join a close-knit service organization of approximately 60 colleagues, including around 30 service engineers. Together, you ensure that our customers can rely on safe, reliable and future-proof installations.\nYour profile\nYou are motivated, technically minded, enjoy working independently and thrive in a role with a variety of tasks and customer locations.\nIn addition, you have:\nA completed MBO-level degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical education.\nSTIPEL Certified Skilled Person certification and/or an IV/WV authorization is considered an advantage.\nExperience in a similar role, or the ambition to grow into one.\nExperience within the electrical industry and the desire to further develop your career in power engineering.
