Responsibility includes performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on critical power and electrical distribution equipment. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service and execute service work as per customer orders and expectations.\nThe work model for the role is: #USA, Remote\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nWork on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement and eliminate pain points. \nPerform field service tasks, including identifying technical issues and conducting certified on-site troubleshooting. \nBe responsible for hands-on execution of projects, including startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of Power Delivery/Distribution equipment, including but not limited to: Transformers, Switchgear, OCBs, Circuit Breakers, busways, PDUs, UPS, ATS, PLCs, Relays, Power Management Controls systems, Low/Med Voltage, and High Voltage/Critical Power. \nPrepare material lists for service activities, ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment meet quality standards and are available. \nExecute installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements. \nBuild and maintain positive customer relationships to enhance satisfaction. \nProactively detect potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions. \nIdentify and suggest product and quality improvements. \nProvide recommendations to management for improving operations and customer service. \nFollow safety protocols and maintain safe work and environmental practices. \nQualifications for the role:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 1 year experience servicing critical power equipment OR Associates Degree in electrical technology with 3+ years’ experience servicing critical power equipment OR High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work and/or military experience (5+ years) servicing critical power equipment. \nAdvanced level ability to interact and communicate (written and verbal) information to varying levels within the organization. \nAdvanced level of ability to use Microsoft Office products. \nModerate ability to Project Manage using MS Project or Excel. \nAdvanced ability to write test plans and reports detailing test results. \nAdvanced ability to stay organized and meet deadlines on administrative duties. \nCollaborates well with others. \nWorks with a sense of urgency and ownership; until the job is complete! \nAbility and willingness to travel approximately 75% as required.
