Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also demonstrate your knowledge by suggesting actions that can improve the financial performance of a specific business.\nThe work model for the role is:hybrid\nThis role contributes to ABB’s business operations in Greece, supporting financial analysis, reporting, and business performance improvement. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will collaborate with the Finance team, Sales teams, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nPerforms analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposes improvement actions.\nWorks with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends.\nPrepares financial modeling for various hypotheses and the overall impact to the business unit.\nSupports the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization.\nValidates the accuracy of financial data and business information and reports through reconciliations and review of exceptions.\nProvides information to management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.\nOptimizes their performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.\nEnsures processes and controls within area of responsibility, are designed and implemented in line with internal policies and regulations.\nMaintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews.\nParticipates in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives, improving data quality, standardization, and optimization of financial processes through data analysis, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.\nQualifications for the role:\nYou are highly skilled in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a solid understanding of financial performance drivers.\nYou have demonstrated experience in financial controlling, accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.\nYou possess advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, as well as financial reporting and data analysis tools.\nYou have an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous process improvement.\nYou hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.\nYou are comfortable communicating in English and Greek, both verbally and in writing.\nYou demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\nBenefits\nWe also offer our employees the following benefits:\nReceive compensation based on your experience and skills\nAdditional financial benefits, such as annual bonus and internal share purchase program.\nWork from Home Days based on local policy\nPrivate medical plan (including offers for family members)\nPrivate Pension Plan\nSeize individual development and training opportunities, from job specific to soft skills\nMore about us\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
