Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nFinancial Planning & Analysis Specialist__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.\nThe work model for the role is: onsite\nThis role is contributing to the ELSB, ELSP Marketing & Sales Finance Organization. \nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nAnalyzes orders, revenues, rebates, and margins to identify key performance drivers, explain favourable and unfavourable variances, and highlight trends affecting topline volume and profitability.\nReviews backlog and revenue coverage to identify risks relating to delivery delays, backlog accumulation, and timely conversion of orders into revenue; assesses overdue receivables by customer, considering ageing and historical payment patterns to identify potential non-payment and collection risks.\nPrepares and maintains forecasts for topline key performance indicators, including orders, revenues, rebates, backlog, and overdue receivables, and explains material changes in assumptions and outlook.\nAnalyzes performance against budget and forecast across sales channels, customers, and business lines, explains key variances, and highlights significant risks and opportunities.\nCoordinates with relevant stakeholders to review and validate performance data and forecast assumptions, follow up on topline KPIs, and monitor agreed actions.\nValidates the accuracy and consistency of business and financial information through reconciliation, exception analysis, and follow-up of identified discrepancies.\nProvides management with timely information by consolidating and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting analyses, findings, and recommendations.\nImproves productivity and reporting effectiveness by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplication, and coordinating information requirements across stakeholders.\nPerforms controls within the area of responsibility and maintains appropriate documentation and audit trails.\n Qualifications for the role\nDegree in Accounting, Finance or related subjects\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and/or accounting\nHigh motivation to work in dynamic environment with orientation towards process improvement/simplification with ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and confidence in information produced.\nAbility to work well under pressure is a prerequisite (meeting deadlines with highest quality).\nStrong communication skills.
