Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProduction Line Manager__\nABB’s Drives factory in Jüri, Estonia, was established in 2005 and is part of ABB’s global Motion business. The factory is one of ABB’s major production sites for low-voltage drives (frequency converters), power inverters and converters.\nOur products are used across industries, including manufacturing and marine applications, to control electric motors, improve process efficiency and reduce energy consumption by up to 50%. Most of the drives produced in Jüri are exported to global markets.\nWe are looking for a Foreman to join our production team and support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.\nThe work model for the role is: onsite #LIonsite\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while leading and supporting the shift team in achieving operational goals.\nYou will work closely with production, engineering, quality, and planning teams to drive performance, solve operational challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nMonitor and drive production performance against key metrics (e.g. productivity, quality, and delivery), taking timely corrective actions to improve efficiency\nPlan and coordinate daily shift operations, including resource allocation and staffing to meet production requirements\nEnsure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards and promote a safe working culture\nLead, coach, and develop team members, supporting skill development and cross-functional flexibility\nIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, reduce waste, and optimize performance\nCollaborate closely with engineering, quality, and planning teams to proactively resolve issues and improve operational outcomes\nQualifications for the role\nTechnical education is preferred\nPrior experience in a production environment and/or team leadership role\nStrong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams\nSolid analytical and problem-solving capabilities\nProficiency in standard computer applications and systems\nGood command of English and Russian (both written and spoken), Estonian language skills are considered an advantage\nMore about us\nWe care.
