Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nChapter Lead__\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to play an instrumental role in the energy transition with focus on new direct current applications by enhancing the Solid State Circuit Breakers (SSCB) offering. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements for the SSCB and will transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability of our SSCB solutions.\n- Work model: #LI-Hybrid\nIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:\nIn-depth analysis of customer applications to determine product features\nConducting valuation of market size and trends, as well as competitor analyses including identification of offering gaps and evaluating ABB's market standing\nUnderstanding and collecting market and customer requirements, and their impact on new developments for SSCB offer portfolio\nManaging the technical specifications of the assigned products and supporting the development of the business case\nSupporting customers and sales team on technical topics related to the SSCB\nManaging product ecosystem including master data, documentation and design and configuration tools\nWorking within an Agile Team environment, embracing Agile methodology and practices to deliver value incrementally\nQualifications for the Role\nDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Management, or related discipline)\nKnowledge of power electronics technologies\nStrong ability to work effectively within cross-functional international teams\nYou are at ease communicating in English\nGenuine interest in electrical products and passion for technical solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Results-oriented mindset with an innovation-focused approach.
