Main stakeholders are Planning and fulfillment, Category Management, and Manufacturing\nYour role and responsibilities:\nEnsuring relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly and ensuring alignment between local procurement activities and division strategy.\n\nImplementing programs to drive improvement in cost, quality, and delivery, in accordance with group/business area procurement guidelines and global division/business area objectives.\n\nSecuring full utilization of the SAP Ariba platform according to the relevant procedure, both related to sharing supplier information and finding existing high-performing suppliers to ABB.\n\nManaging planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts\n\nEnsuring material availability for daily manufacturing and planned inventory levels .\n\nBe the Tactical leader for the Supply Chain - Coordinate Consistent Supply Chain practices across the various manufacturing lines within the business.\n\nImplements methods, practices and techniques to ensure the most economical movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels while meeting customer delivery requirements.\n\nOur Team Dynamics\nOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.\nQualifications for the role:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, procurement, planning and/or operational excellence in the electronics industry / working with electronic manufacturing service (EMS) suppliers.\n\nDemonstrated track record of team leadership, mentorship or formal training required.\n\nExcellent internal and external relationship management and collaboration with suppliers, engineers and customer service.\n\nHighly knowledgeable in SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana, Ariba, Celonis and business intelligence tools.\n\nPassionate about networking with a diverse global supply base, managing optimized inventory policies and developing people.\n\nThis role involves 20% domestic and international travel, requiring a valid US Driver’s License and US Passport.\n\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\n\nMore about us\nABB Drive Products serves the industries and infrastructure segments with world-class drives and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
