You will perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.\nThe work model for the role is: Hybrid {#LI-Hybrid}\nThis role is contributing to the Automation area, in their Hoisting business line in Utah. Your main stakeholders would be customers from the mining sector.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nAct as the key point of contact for all technical aspects after the system start-up as well as leading the maintenance program for the hoist systems.\nProviding on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifying technical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories.\nConduction hoisting system inspections and audits to ensure proper operation and safety level of the system.\nConsulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions inaccordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.\nIdentifying potential equipment failures and taking corrective actions, troubleshooting complex equipment failures, and making proactive recommendations to avoid the problem in the future.\nReporting work done in a timely manner and following up when needed.\nMaking suggestions for product, quality, and customer service improvements, and discussing them with management.\nProvide hands-on support at customer sites.\n Qualifications for the role\nProfessional background in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Automation or Mining engineering, or alike.\nA minimum of 5 years of experience with industrial systems\nMine hoist systems knowledge and experience are a definite asset.\nStrong customer focus and the ability to relate well to customer needs.\nStrong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.\nMust be able to work in a multi-disciplined service environment, often under pressure filled scenarios.\nExcellent communication skills including the ability to write reports and speak effectively before customers or employees.\nValid passport and driver’s license.\nAbility to work in Canada, United States and Mexico as required.\nAbility to travel as required (60-70% of the time), including internationally.\nFluent English is required, while an intermediate (or higher) degree of knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus. \nWhat's in it for you\nWe empower you to take the lead, share bold ideas, and shape real outcomes.
