Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLead HSE Culture & Compliance: Serve as the primary HSE liaison, embedding a strong health, safety, and environmental culture while ensuring organizational compliance with local regulations and ABB HSE standards.\nStrengthen HSE Capability & Risk Management: Optimize HSE processes and tools, oversee risk assessments, and ensure effective implementation of controls, preventive measures, and learning programs.\nDrive Incident Management & Continuous Improvement: Ensure timely reporting, investigation, and communication of incidents, sharing lessons learned and best practices to drive behavioral change and continual improvement.\nMonitor Performance & Manage Resources: Track and report HSE performance against KPIs and objectives, support budgeting for the function, and manage resources to meet financial and operational targets.\nQualifications for the role:\nBachelor’s (preferred) OR Associates' Degree in health and safety or a related discipline and minimum 8 years experience including 5 years in industrial supervision and/or training.\nPreferred Experience / Certifications: CISP, CSP, First Aid, OSHA 10 hour, OSHA 30 hour, Leans Six Sigma, ISO.\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nMore about us:\nABB’s NEMA Motors Division is the global leading electric NEMA motors manufacturer.
