Our solutions are used by leading companies in the global steel and aluminum industry. As a global business unit, we combine world-class engineering with our own workshop and production facilities in Västerås, Sweden. Joining Metallurgy Products means becoming part of an international team where technology, craftsmanship, and customer focus come together to create tangible value for the world's leading steel and aluminum producers.\nYour responsibilities\nDrive and continuously improve HSE processes, plans and ways of working.\nSupport managers, project teams and operational personnel in risk assessments, incident investigations and preventive actions.\nEnsure compliance with ABB requirements, legal obligations and internal management standards.\nLead HSE reporting, KPI follow-up and documentation, ensuring activities are completed and properly evidenced.\nPromote a proactive culture where hazards, risks and improvement opportunities are identified and addressed.\nSupport site activities, installation and commissioning phases from an HSE perspective.\nCoordinate quality governance activities, including ISO management systems, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.\nContribute to the development of the function towards a broader HSEQ framework.\nQualifications\nProven experience in HSE within manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering or project environments.\nStrong understanding of risk management, compliance, reporting and management systems.\nExperience working with audits, ISO standards and quality processes is highly valued.\nA hands-on and structured approach, with the ability to work independently and drive activities to completion.\nComfortable working with documentation, KPIs, databases and reporting tools.\nExperience from an international and matrix-organized environment is an advantage.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\nWhy ABB Metallurgy?\nThis role offers a unique opportunity to make a visible impact across manufacturing, operations and global projects.
