Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nHSE Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Selmer, TN.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nSafety documentation management - Completes all required paperwork (inspections, permits, incidents, compliance records) with accurate, audit-ready detail.\n\nEmergency response readiness - Acts as the primary on-shift responder for medical events, chemical releases, fire alarms, and other emergencies; coordinates with Security, Supervisors, and external responders.\n\nFirst aid & medical support - Provides immediate first aid and maintains readiness of first-aid supplies, AEDs, and emergency equipment.\n\nShift safety oversight - Monitors 2nd-shift operations for unsafe conditions or procedural deviations and supports supervisors in enforcing corrective actions.\n\nTraining & onboarding support - Assists with safety training for new hires, contractors, and cross-shift personnel; reinforces PPE use and emergency procedures.\n\nFacility wide support - Verifies safety controls continually working, LOTO steps utilized, and hazard mitigation during ongoing operations.\n\nCommunication & reporting - Communicates key safety issues to leadership; escalates urgent matters and provides clear shift-end updates.\n\n Qualifications for the role\nHigh School Diploma required.\n\nExperience in medical field or HSE background preferred (EMT-level skill; able to provide confident first aid and support emergency response).\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nDemonstrates honesty, accountability, and trustworthiness in all safety and documentation activities.\n\nCandidates must already have work authorization in the US.\n\nWhy ABB?\nWhat's in it for you\nWe want you to bring your full self to work-your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
