Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProcurement Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, plan, and implement procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company, procurement, and supply base management instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLeveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing process for implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy and ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.\nManaging planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts.\nNegotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists, and terms and conditions.\nEnsuring identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability) in accordance with company policies.\n Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, industrial, or a related engineering field.\n10+ years of experience in similar roles, such as Category Specialist, Senior Buyer, Production Planning Analyst, or equivalent positions.\nProficiency in SAP, Power BI, and Excel.\nExperience in negotiation, cost-reduction projects, and supplier development.\nPrior experience in the steel, aluminum, copper, or metals industry.\nKnowledge of finance (understanding of P&L).\nTraining in cost-reduction methodologies is a plus.\nStrong sense of urgency, collaborative mindset, and team-oriented approach.\nAdvanced level of English.\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
