Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nPlanning & Fulfillment Manager__\nYour Role: Own the Challenge\n\nAs an Indirect Buyer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our manufacturing facility by managing the procurement of indirect materials and services. You will be responsible for securing the right products and suppliers at the best value while ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and operational continuity.\nWe are looking for a highly organized and proactive professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities, provide timely follow-up to internal stakeholders, and maintain strong communication across different functions while ensuring procurement activities are executed efficiently and accurately.\nThe work model for the role is: On site\nGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.\nThis role is contributing to the ELSP (Smart Power) Business at our site in Monterrey 3.0, Mexico.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage the end-to-end procurement process for indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, spare parts, tools, PPE, and indirect services.\nConvert approved purchase requisitions into accurate and timely purchase orders while ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and policies.\nMonitor purchase orders and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and material availability.\nNegotiate pricing, commercial terms, and agreements with suppliers while maintaining strong supplier relationships.\nAnalyze quotations and supplier proposals to identify the best overall value for the business.\nCoordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues, shortages, discrepancies, and service concerns.\nSupport inventory availability by aligning purchasing activities with demand forecasts, stock levels, lead times, and operational priorities.\nTrack supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on purchasing efficiency, service levels, and cost optimization.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Materials Management, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong experience purchasing indirect materials, MRO supplies, consumables, and services.\nHands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, including purchase order management, inventory transactions, material planning, and procurement reporting.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and a strong analytical mindset.\nAdvanced English communication skills.\nProven negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving capabilities.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.\nAPICS CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or similar Supply Chain certifications are considered a plus.\nHighly organized and structured professional, capable of managing multiple stakeholder requests simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.\nCustomer-focused mindset with strong prioritization, follow-through, and communication skills, ensuring internal stakeholder needs are addressed in a timely and professional manner.\n What benefits we also offer our employees:\nPerformance Bonus\nSaving fund\nPaid parental leave\nLife insurance\nRetirement plan\nHealth and dental insurance\nWellbeing program\nFlex days\nEmployee Assistance Program (PAE)\nAccess to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
