You will work across Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and other functions to identify growth opportunities, improve product performance, and support offering strategy and profitability.\nThe work model for the role is: #Hybrid out the Bartlesville, OK factory. #LI-Hybrid\nCandidates should live within a commutable distance of ABB’s Bartlesville, OK factory, and plan to work onsite 2-3 days per week, with increased onsite presence during the initial period.\nYou will be part of the ABB Flow Computer and RTU automation, measurement, and control solutions for the upstream oil and gas sector - from wellhead to global distribution - enabling safe, productive, and profitable operations.\nYour role and responsibilities\nOptimize product portfolio performance by analyzing market trends, customer requirements, competitive offerings, and product profitability to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.\nLead product and market analysis to identify portfolio gaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and translate customer and industry needs into actionable product recommendations.\nManage technical product requirements for assigned Instrumentation offerings, ensuring specifications, configurations, and capabilities meet applicable standards and customer expectations.\nSupport product strategy and lifecycle management by developing recommendations for product roadmaps, new offerings, enhancements, cost reductions, and lifecycle investments.\nEvaluate product quality and performance by monitoring warranty cases, quality cost drivers, and recurring technical issues while coordinating resolutions and improvement actions.\nEnable commercial success by supporting pricing, product positioning, sales initiatives, customer engagements, product launches, and technical training.\nProvide technical leadership by collaborating across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and other functions to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction.\nOur Team Dynamics\nOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.\nQualifications for the role:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n10+ years of relevant professional experience in instrumentation, product management, applications engineering, technical sales, or a related field.\nAdvanced knowledge of instrumentation products, applications, technical specifications, and relevant industry standards.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze market and customer needs, evaluate product performance, and develop recommendations for complex business or technical challenges.\nAbility to troubleshoot product or application issues, communicate technical information clearly, and coordinate solutions with customers and internal teams.\nStrong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to independently manage complex assignments.\nWilling and able to travel up to 25% of the time, as needed, for customer support.\nCandidates must have work authorization that permits permanent employment with ABB in the United States.\nWhat's in it for you \nWe want you to bring your full self to work-your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
