Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nPlanning & Fulfillment Manager__\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee warehouse operations, manage a team of employees who receive, handle, store, and dispatch products, systems, and services to customers. Each day, you will establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as per production schedules and workflow. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nCoordination with Third party Logistic, ensuring on time material availability on production lines\n\nOptimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization and supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping operations.\n\nImplement process improvements/ Digitalization / Automation in the warehouse\n\nRecommending measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment; and ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting.\n\nPerform annual physical inventory\n\nEnsuring maintenance of equipment and facilities and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.\n\nJob Qualifications:\nBachelor degree in business or related field with minimum 3 years or equivalent High School Diploma with minimum 8 years of experience in warehouse operation / Logistics\n\nMandatory SAP knowledge in WM/ MM / PP module\n\nExperience in manpower handling\n\nGood computer skills including Microsoft Office.\n\nKnowledge and understanding of an ERP system, SAP highly preferred.\n\nCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration\n\nMore about us\nABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
