Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProduction Engineering Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nYou will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.\nWork model for the role is: #LI-Onsite.\nIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:\nIdentifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.\n\nApproving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project.\n\nProviding support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.\n\nEvaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.\n\nQualifications for the role\nYou have a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.\n\n2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is considered a plus.\n\nYou have strong knowledge oflean manufacturing,continuous improvement, andproduction process optimization.\n\nYou are skilled in usingERP systemsandproduction planning tools, with a hands-on approach toproblem-solving.\n\nYou are a collaborative team player, adaptable to change, and comfortable working in cross-functional environments.\n\nYou are at ease communicating in both English and Italian, effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nCompensation Package\nAs part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:\nApplicable CBA: Metalmeccanico\nMinimum annual salary: € 36.000,00\nVariable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus\nThe offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.\nBenefits as per policy\nFlexible working hours, hybrid work options, and a strong focus on work-life integration and Wellbeing support for employees and their families.
