Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nGlobal Data Center Segment Sales Leader__\nThe work model for the role is: Remote #LI-Remote\nYour role and responsibilities: \nIn this role, you will execute ABB’s global data center strategy with the goal of increasing sales, expanding market share, and enhancing customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for promoting ABB Motion products across all data center applications and securing ABB’s inclusion on the Approved Vendor Lists of key end users, EPCs, and specifying engineers/consultants nationwide.\nThis role takes a solutions-based approach to account management, particularly in data center industries with high potential for cross-business collaboration. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.\nYou will be mainly accountable for: \nDrive new business growth by exceeding sales targets and developing profitable opportunities in the data center sector.\n Manage key accounts across all product lines, including forecasting, issue resolution, and positioning ABB as a preferred vendor for motors and drives (VFDs).\nMonitor industry trends and align ABB offerings to emerging technologies while collaborating with global and regional teams to execute strategic plans.\nPartner with Product Managers to deliver training, seminars, and promotional events for internal teams, channel partners, consultants, and end-users.\nQualifications for the role: \nBachelor’s Degree (Engineering Preferred) with minimum 5 years OR Associate’s Degree with minimum 7 years OR High School Diploma with minimum 9 years of experience in data centers, motors, drives (VFD’s) for cooling systems, power solutions and grid stability products.\nStrong background in consultative technical sales with long sales cycles (>12 months).\nWilling to travel up to 60% (domestic and occasional international).\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Salesforce.com and Workday (preferred).\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nMore about us:\nABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions and related services to industrial customers to increase energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes.
