Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.\nThe work model for the role is onsite in Senatobia, Mississippi.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLeading a hands-on Continuous Improvement project using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology.\nConducting time studies and waste evaluations across production lines to identify inefficiencies.\nApplying Lean Manufacturing tools such as: Spaghetti diagrams, Line balancing,7 Wastes analysis, Kaizen events,5S audits, Standard work documentation\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams and exploring various departments within the factory to gather insights and drive improvements.\nPreparing and delivering weekly presentations to site management to report progress, findings, and recommendations.\nEngaging in change management by challenging the status quo and working closely with production employees to implement sustainable changes.\nDocumenting project milestones, data analysis, and implementing solutions to support long-term operational excellence.\nQualifications for the role:\nCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field, in the United States.\nIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.\nUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.\nEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.\nExhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.\nCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.\nWhy ABB?\nWhat's in it for you\nWe want you to bring your full self to work-your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
