You will work with modern machines, robots, and a variety of materials in a dynamic 24/5 production environment. Experience in injection molding is a plus, but certainly not required - motivation and a willingness to learn make the difference.\nWe work according to ABB’s values: care, courage, curiosity & collaboration.\nWhat will you be doing at ABB?\nTogether with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the entire machine park within the injection molding department at ABB. Your main task is to monitor and manufacture products using injection molding machines, robots, and other peripheral equipment.\nNo two days are the same in this dynamic organization. Tasks range from setting up machines and changing molds to adjusting robots and performing quality checks.\nAdditional responsibilities include:\nTroubleshooting technical issues\nRecording production progress in SAP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System)\nPerforming (preventive) maintenance on machines\nThis is a three-shift position, including:\nMorning shift: 06:00 - 14:00\nAfternoon/evening shift: 14:00 - 22:00\nNight shift: 22:00 - 06:00\nThe schedule for the coming year is already prepared, so you will know your shifts well in advance. You will also receive a shift allowance of 24%.\nYour team\nThe factory in Ede is a production site for low-voltage components-products that make buildings smarter.\nWithin the injection molding department, three shifts operate 24/5 to produce our full range of 600 products. You will work with many different materials and collaborate closely with fellow operators and the team leader.\nTogether with your team, you are responsible for ensuring safety on the work floor.
