Run what runs the world.\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite - Selmer, TN\nYour role and responsibilities:\nTrouble-shoot and repair production equipment and supporting systems.\nProvides adjustments or calibrations as needed throughout the facility.\nExecute maintenance assignments under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.\nPerform preventative maintenance per CMMS schedule, weekly, monthly and /or annually. Recognize and correct potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions as needed.\nPerform welding fabrication to new and existing equipment.\nPerform new construction and/or repairs in the facility, equipment moves and instillation which includes plumbing, carpentry, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical.\nRead, interpret, and understand blueprint for mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic.\nParticipate in various training programs designed for maintenance and enhancement of job skills.\nKnow, understand, and adhere to all occupational health and safety policies and procedures set forth by ABB.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications for the role:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\n* Completion of Industrial Maintenance degree/certificate required\n\n[5] years of experience in Industrial maintenance required\n\nKnowledge in Industrial Electric required\n\nCertifications preferred\n\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nSkills Required\nPLC programming and troubleshooting knowledge is preferred.\nProficient in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.\nAbility to diagnose all types of machine issues and develop effective solutions quickly and effectively.\nStrong communication skills verbal and written to interact with team members and report on maintenance activities. Passing on information between shifts is a must through verbal, written and the CMMS system.\nCareful attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed correctly, safely and recorded.\nStrong Electrical and Mechanical skills.\nAbility to understand and read mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic blueprints.\nFamiliar with wastewater treatment practices is a plus\nFamiliar with all OSHA, NFPA 70, and EPA practices and policies associated with the job.\nUnderstand, practice, and enforce safe work practices related to respiratory protection, elevated work platforms, fall protection, lock out/tag out, electrical safety, and hoists.\nAbility to demonstrate knowledge and skills in Fork trucks/Scissor Lift operation, welding, cutting, general maintenance equipment operations, confined space entry, and PPE practices.\nCMMS experience in an industrial environment is a plus.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365, with the ability to learn other software programs.\nStrong organizational skills.\nSelf-motivated individual - willing to take the initiative.\nFlexibility to work overtime, or weekends as needed\nWhy ABB?\nABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
