Each day, you will ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of equipment and systems. You will also showcase your expertise by conducting specialized work assignments as part of the production processes.\nThe work model for the role is: onsite, Auburn Hills, MI.\nRoles and responsibilities:\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nExecuting the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.\nPerforming regular quality testing of the equipment, if needed, as part of a defined production process and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any.\nEnsuring the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to the defined workflow.\nTaking responsibility for the proper operation and daily maintenance of equipment in use and addressing any malfunctions to maintain production schedules.\nQualifications for the role:\nHigh School Diploma is required.\nMinimum of 5 years of relatable experience.\nAbility to read blueprints and electrical schematics to interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels is required.\nPerforming regular quality testing of the equipment, troubleshoot, and report any issues as needed.\nResponsible for the proper operation and daily maintenance of equipment in use and address any malfunctions to maintain production schedules.\nKnowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly.\nUnderstanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms.\nCompetencies needed: strong organizational skills, attention to detail, technical aptitude, problem solving, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nWe value people from different backgrounds.
