Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nPlanning & Fulfillment Manager__\nThe Master Scheduler oversees the creation and management of the monthly master production schedule, ensuring alignment with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and global business objectives. This role partners closely with Demand Management, Production Control, Inventory, Logistics, and Finance teams to balance capacity, material availability, and customer demand. The Master Scheduler drives schedule accuracy, supports new product introductions and phase-outs, manages global inventory targets, and contributes to continuous improvement across the supply chain.\nThis position will need to work an onsite schedule out of the Hackettstown, NJ facility (no relocation assistance is allotted for this position).\nKey responsibilties:\nManage weekly Stock Transport Orders to ensure production output aligns with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).\n\nPartner with Demand Managers to set product mix, support new product launches, and plan product phase-outs to reduce excess inventory.\n\nWork with Production & Inventory Control teams to understand capacity constraints and help prevent past-due orders or unnecessary overtime.\n\nCoordinate with Production Control Analysts to balance manufacturing orders based on material and capacity availability.\n\nManage global safety stock and finished-goods inventory levels using established planning strategies.\n\nTrack schedule accuracy, analyze KPIs, and recommend improvements to strengthen the master scheduling process.\n\nSupport continuous improvement across the supply chain to enhance customer service, reduce inventory, and improve productivity.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing scheduling, forecasting, asset management, or shipment planning.\n\nStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.\n\nEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.\n\nCandidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAPICS CPIM certification.\n\nExperience in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment.\n\nUnderstanding of supply chain, materials planning, and logistics best practices.\n\nStrong problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively with global teams and navigate cultural or language differences.\n\nWhat's in it for you:\nWe empower you to take the lead, share bold ideas, and shape real outcomes.
