Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nOperations/Supply Planner__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for conversion of supply plan into a master production schedule which can be executed. Each day, you will translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule. You will also showcase your expertise by establishing key performance indicators of master plan accuracy.\nThis role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiamen China.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nCustomer order management: Receive and evaluate customer orders, make delivery plan according to production capacity and material supply, feedback planned delivery date.\nShort term production plan: Make short term FG/SFG production plan and proper OT arrangement based on MPS, actual customer orders, as well as the capacity and material availability.\nProduction Scheduling & Sequencing:, Formulate the refined scheduling of workshop operations based on the short-term production plan, comprehensively consider multi-dimensional constraints such as equipment, material, workforce, and routines, determine the optimal operation sequence, and simultaneously output the corresponding picking list to ensure the orderly execution.\nPlanning parameter management: Maintain capacity scheduling parameters.\nInventory control: Regularly review and analyze products’ ABC/FMR attributes, life cycle and RM supply, set up and maintain the proper safety inventory level for SFG and MTS FG.\nOrder execution monitor: Daily monitor the execution of production plan and order delivery, manage exceptions and resolve them.\nCustomer order OTD monitoring: Manage and monitor customer order on time delivery, monthly analyze the root cause of N-OTD and take actions for improvement.\nOthers: optimization project or task assigned by line manager\nQualifications for the role\nBachelor and above degree, engineering education background is preferred.\nFamiliar with factory operation process, know the normal order handling and production planning methods and KPI.\nGood data analysis and statistics ability, can find and analyze the issue, identify potential risk and find solution.\nAt least 3-5 years order handling or production planning experience in foreign company, better if ever used lean sigma or other equivalent theory to lead or participate the optimization task\nGood English listening, speaking, reading, and writing level, has some financial knowledge.\nGood MS operation and ERP knowledge, be skilled in SAP is preferred\nOpen minded and active in communication, accountable and can bear stress.Team work, are willing to change and can accept change\nMore about us\nABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
