Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nPlanning & Fulfillment Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your skills by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-onsite\nThis role is contributing to the ABB Smart Power division at the Regional Distribution Center in Mt Juliet, TN.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDefining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.\nCalculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.\nCoordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.\nCollaborating with buyers to ensure the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.\nQualifications for the role\nBachelor’s degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with 2+ years relevant work experience in Materials Planning, Sourcing, and Logistics. Will consider an Associate’s degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field with 7+ years relevant work experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant work experience.\nAdvanced knowledge of integrated ERP systems, specifically SAP.\nAPICS / ISM or equal supply chain certifications.\nDemonstrated analytical skills, ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.\nSolid time management and organization skills.\nClear communication and presentation skills.\nProficiency in MS Excel required, and Power BI proficiency.\nCandidates already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nWhat's in it for you\nWe empower you to take initiative and lead with confidence.
