Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nR&D Team Lead__\nYour role and responsibilities\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to take a key role in the development of our new I/O system. You will be responsible for developing and verifying mechanical design solutions, with a strong focus on plastic components and injection-molded parts.\nIn this role, you will work with complex mechanical engineering challenges throughout the development process, from concept and detailed design to analysis, verification, and design optimization. You will apply your technical expertise and engineering judgment to develop robust, reliable, and manufacturable solutions.\nAs a senior engineer, you will also lead and coordinate engineering activities, support other engineers, and contribute to technical decisions across disciplines. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues from different engineering functions as well as other internal and external stakeholders.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDesign and verification of mechanical solutions for our new I/O system\nDevelopment of plastic components designed for injection molding\nPerforming and evaluating engineering analyses to support design decisions\nLeading and coordinating complex mechanical engineering activities\nProviding technical guidance and support to other engineers\nIdentifying technical risks and driving solutions to complex engineering challenges\nContributing to continuous improvements in product design, development methods, and ways of working\nCollaborating effectively across engineering disciplines and organizational boundaries\nYour background:\nWe are looking for a highly experienced mechanical engineer with strong technical expertise and advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. You are comfortable taking ownership of complex engineering challenges and can work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.\nYou have:\nA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field\nMore than 6 years of relevant professional experience, including experience in technical leadership or coordination or\nAnother relevant technical degree combined with extensive professional experience in the field\nStrong experience in mechanical product design\nSolid expertise in plastic design and injection molding\nExperience with design verification, analysis, and technical problem-solving\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nA good working command of English\nWe value a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
