Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nMaintenance Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and mechanical equipment.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.\nRepair, replace, and overhaul mechanical components such as bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, pumps, valves, and pneumatic systems.\nRead and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and pneumatic diagrams.\nCarry out machine setup, alignment, calibration, and adjustment activities according to production requirements.\nCollaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.\nReport recurring mechanical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with company safety procedures and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.\nQualifications for the role\nTechnical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.\nBasic knowledge of the English language.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly diagrams, and technical documentation.\nStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in mechanical and pneumatic systems.\nKnowledge of mechanical maintenance techniques and industrial equipment.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong commitment, reliability, problem-solving attitude, and willingness to learn.\nAvailability to work night shifts, weekends, and on a continuous shift schedule if required.\nPrevious experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is considered an advantage.\nOur team dynamics \nYou will join a dynamic, talented and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.\nBenefits as per policy\nFlexible working hours, hybrid work options, and a strong focus on work-life integration and Wellbeing support for employees and their families\nWelfare plan with a wide range of personalized services\nCanteen or meal vouchers provided\nCompensation Package\nAs part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:\nApplicable CBA: Metalmeccanico \nCompany defined package above minimum annual salary per CBA\nVariable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus\nThe offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.\nBenefits as per policy\nWellbeing support for employees and their families\nWelfare plan with a wide range of personalized services\nCanteen or meal vouchers provided\nMore about us\nABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
