Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nGlobal Project Planning & Controls Mgr__\nYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) as a back end developer.\nThe MES Backend Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of MES backend components and business logic, working closely with the MES Champion / Modeler to implement reliable and scalable MES solutions.\nThe role requires strong backend development capabilities combined with a basic understanding of MES modelling, enabling the developer to understand the functional structure of the solution and correctly integrate custom developments with the MES model.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the IT Business in Juarez.\nMain responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain MES backend logic, services and extensions.\n\nImplement business rules and custom application logic.\n\nPerform basic MES modelling and configuration when required.\n\nUnderstand and work with MES models created by the MES Champion / Modeler.\n\nFollow global architecture, coding, naming and development standards.\n\nPerform unit testing, debugging and technical troubleshooting.\n\nSupport integration with Frontend, SAP and IoT components.\n\nSupport deployment, issue resolution and continuous improvement of MES applications.\n\n Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)\nBachelor’s Degree in Information Management, computer systems, business engineering or similar.\n\n5+ years of experience within Manufacturing or Computer Science related role.\n\nKnowledge of MES and ERP systems, materials management and production control, Critical Manufacturing MES and SAP preferred.\n\nProven track record of backend development for mid size projects.\n\nStrong backend programming capabilities.\n\nExperience with discrete manufacturing & capability to analyze and synthesize information obtained from various groups of stakeholders.\n\nExperience with production control, specifically MES/ECS systems.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.\n\nAvailability to travel with possibly some international travel.\n\nFluent English.\n\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
