This is a key position in the Distribution Solutions team.\nReports to the Production Supervisor. Support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Correctly use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. Read and interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.\nThis position is graded as{20 -for internal posting only}.\nAssembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.\nReads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.\nUses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.\nMaintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies. \nMaintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.\nInventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed. \nPeriodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nOvertime is required \nKnowledge and use of tools - tape measure, screwdriver, battery operated tools, etc.\nKnowledge of hardware arrangements - nuts, bolts, screws, etc.\nKnowledge of 5S - sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain\nKnowledge and use of necessary PPE\nAbility to read and interpret engineering job spec sheet, connection diagrams, bill of materials, and standard assembly drawings\nAbility to use crane or other lifting devices, as needed\nAbility to use and work with hand tools\nAbility to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed\nAbility to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs\nAbility to speak, read, and write the English Language\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple or basic instructions\nBasic computer skills to be able to look up parts based on bill of materials\nBasic mathematical skills\nBasic communication skills\nHand, eye coordination skills and use of both hands\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nLegal authorization to work in the US is required. \nWe look forward to receiving your application.
