You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment.\nThe work model for the role is: Remote\nYour Responsibilities :\nDevelop and execute industry segment strategies to drive market growth, profitability, and long-term business success.\nDefine market presence, delivery models, and execution standards while ensuring strong business planning and operational excellence.\nDrive revenue growth through market penetration, innovation, portfolio development, and expansion into new opportunities.\nEstablish and monitor key performance targets, including sales volume, pricing, and portfolio mix, to achieve business objectives.\nBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, industry influencers, and major accounts to strengthen ABB’s market position.\nAnalyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities and guide strategic decisions.\nPromote ABB’s value proposition through customer engagement, industry events, trade shows, and coordinated marketing initiatives.\nCollaborate with divisions, sales teams, and regional organizations to align strategies, share knowledge, and maximize business results.\nSupport the pursuit and execution of large-scale projects, including contract negotiations, commercial agreements, and risk management.\nLead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams by fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.\n Qualifications for the role :\nA minimum of 5 years of experience working as a National Segment Manager or a similar role. \nSolid knowledge of industrial fan applications across mining, healthcare, refrigeration, and data center environments.\nExperience in Market Intelligence, ideally in a Solutions Application Engineer or similar customer-facing technical role.\nProven ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to support business growth.\nExperience contributing to or driving business strategy, market development, and growth initiatives.\nStrong commercial acumen with the ability to connect technical solutions to business objectives.\nSkilled at building credibility with customers and stakeholders through a consultative approach.\nYou are at ease communicating in English - French is an asset. \nEmployment Equity & Inclusion Statement (Canada)\nABB values the dedication, commitment, and expertise of all our employees.
