Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nOrder Handling Manager__\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite, Florence, SC\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role as Order Handling Specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide customer support, including technical support, order, and payment-related assistance to achieve target levels of service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will implement customer support strategy to increase operational excellence and customer satisfaction in the sales process. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting achievement of established targets by overseeing progress and implementing improvement actions as needed.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nFocusing on achievement of defined targets, including inventory turn on finished goods, requested on-time delivery, and Net Promoter Score.\nProcessing orders by coordinating with Sales, Product Marketing, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure that customers receive accurate and timely delivery of products.\nActing as the first port of call for customers’ queries and orders and ensuring the resolution of customer issues.\nSupporting in after-sales service by resolving customer issues and ensuring effective and efficient customer communication by utilizing specific commercial communication tools.\nQualifications for the role\n Bachelor degree (no minimum experience) OR Associate degree PLUS minimum 1 year of related experience OR High School diploma PLUS minimum 2 years of related experience\nCustomer support or quality management experience in manufacturing\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft programs, Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook. \nStrong communication skills (oral and written). \nStrong knowledge of ABB systems, SPINE, SAP, SOM, a plus. \nOperates in a fast-paced environment where critical decisions must be made quickly, and teamwork is essential. \nThis role does not include relocation. \nCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nMore about us\nABB's Service Division partners with our customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability and sustainability of electrical products and installations.
