Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nManufacturing Unit Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. Each day, you will drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory and supply plan.\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite in Selmer, TN {#LI-onsite}\nThis role is contributing to the success of the Busway manufacturing facility located in Selmer, TN in NAM ELDS.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nOwning the site supply planning process.\n\nProviding visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process.\n\nRunning a short-term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution.\n\nSupporting the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with business functions and Supply units (feeder factories).\n\nQualifications for the role\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations OR Associate’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations OR High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work and/or military experience and 9+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations\n\nMinimum of 2 years leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.\n\nExperience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.\n\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\n\nTechnical Knowledge\nStrong understanding of demand planning, production planning, inventory control, and customer fulfillment processes.\n\nKnowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and planning tools.\n\nExperience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.\n\nUnderstanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles.\n\nAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading planning and fulfillment transformations.\n\nKnowledge of forecasting methodologies and supply chain analytics.\n\nExperience with KPI development and performance management.\n\nWhat's in it for you\nWe want you to bring your full self to work-your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
