Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nAmericas Region Operational Excellence Project Director__\nThe Planning & Fulfillment Manager is responsible for leading demand planning, production planning, optimized inventory level, order fulfillment, customer delivery performance, to ensure products are delivered to customers safely, on time, in full, and at optimal cost. This role works closely with Operations, Procurement, Factory Project Managers , Customer Service, Logistics, Finance, and Sales to balance customer requirements with operational capabilities.\nWe are searching for someone with excellent electrical industry experience who is capable of working in-person in our Florence, SC manufacturing facility, who will lead a team of 5-6 folks both onsite and in a satellite office. #LI-Onsite\nKey Responsibilities for the role:\nStrategic Planning\nDevelop and implement planning and fulfillment strategies aligned with business objectives.\nLead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.\nBalance customer demand with production capacity and supply availability.\nDevelop inventory strategies to optimize working capital while supporting customer service requirements.\nDemand & Supply Planning\nManage demand forecasting and forecast accuracy improvement initiatives.\nLead Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).\nMonitor capacity constraints and develop mitigation plans.\nCoordinate with Procurement to ensure material availability.\nInventory Management\nDrive inventory optimization initiatives.\nEstablish inventory targets, safety stock levels, and replenishment strategies.\nMonitor inventory health, excess and obsolete inventory.\nImprove inventory turns and reduce carrying costs.\nFulfillment & Logistics\nManage order fulfillment activities to achieve customer delivery commitments.\nEnsure on-time and complete shipment performance.\nSupport warehouse, distribution, and logistics operations.\nResolve customer escalations related to delivery, shortages, or supply issues.\nCustomer Service Excellence\nCollaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to improve customer satisfaction.\nManage backlog and prioritize customer requirements.\nCommunicate supply constraints, recovery plans, and delivery expectations.\nOperational Excellence\nDrive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nImprove planning processes, systems, and reporting tools.\nLead root-cause analysis and corrective action efforts related to delivery and inventory performance.\nStandardize best practices across planning and fulfillment functions.\nLeadership & Team Development\nLead and develop Planning, Scheduling, Inventory, and Fulfillment teams.\nEstablish departmental goals and performance measures.\nCoach and mentor employees to build organizational capability.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nKPI Management\nQualifications for the position:\nBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. MBA or Master's Degree preferred.\nPreferred certifications include: APICS/ASCM CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management), APICS/ASCM CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, PMP certification (preferred)\n6+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain/Production Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Control, Logistics, or Fulfillment.\n5+ years of leadership experience managing planning and fulfillment teams.\nExperience in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, automotive, medical device, or distribution environments.\nDemonstrated experience leading S&OP, production planning, demand planning, and inventory optimization processes.\nProven success improving delivery performance, inventory turns, and customer satisfaction.\nPreferred Experience: Multi-site manufacturing or global supply chain experience. Experience supporting high-volume and complex manufacturing operations. ERP implementation or transformation experience. Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Digital Supply Chain initiatives.\nTechnical Skills: ERP systems - SAP and related interface tools. MRP and Advanced Planning Systems. Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools. Advanced Microsoft Excel. Inventory optimization and forecasting software.
