Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nSenior Engineering Manager__\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.\nDevelop low voltage power modules (include AC/DC, AC/DC/AC, DC/DC or DC/AC) or perform iterative product development.\n\nAnalyze the performance of the existing low voltage power modules (include AC/DC, AC/DC/AC or DC/AC), identify areas for improvement and alternative solutions.\n\nDesign of new and improved low voltage power modules (include AC/DC, AC/DC/AC, DC/DC or DC/AC), especially main circuit design.\n\nPerformed tests on low voltage power modules (include AC/DC, AC/DC/AC, DC/DC or DC/AC) and whole low voltage system (functional test, type tests, reliability tests…), analyze tests results, propose improvement proposal if has and further improvement.\n\nQualifications for the Role\nMaster degree from Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or related area, have agile development environment working experience is a plus.\n\nExperience with low voltage power modules or similar products that use power electronics components, experience on system design is a plus.\n\nFamiliar with the main circuit related to DFIG wind, full power wind, solar inverter, energy storage system is a big plus.\n\nKnowledge on testing and certification related work in low voltage power module, related actual experience is preferred.\n\nKnowledge on reliability design related work in LV power electronics related products, actual experience is preferred.\n\nFamiliar with testing and corresponding testing instruments.\n\nFluent in English, positive attitude and a team player.\n\nMore about us\nABB System Drives is the market leader in high-power, high-performance drives, drive systems and packages for industrial process and large infrastructure applications, and a leading supplier of power conversion equipment for renewable energy and other applications.
