Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nQuality Supervisor (3rd Shift)__\nProcess Quality Technician\nTypical Reporting Line:\nQuality Control Manager (or) Local Quality Manager\nThe requirements will be:\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma (/Electronic/Electrical/Engineering Technology Certification or equivalent preferred)\nCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US\nWorking knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (PP, Word, Excel)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in manufacturing electrical products\nAble to conceptualize steps required with large data to achieve a certain outcome/result\nExperience working as quality control technician or related fields\nBasic knowledge of MINITAB software or equivalent statistic software tool\nPrevious experience in first article inspection validation\nMission Statement:\nAct with safety, efficiency, quality and productivity to assure that products and systems\nmeet stated requirements. Employs standard test protocols and applies specifications to\nensure quality.\nMain Accountabilities:\n1. Test Capability Conducts test protocols as assigned to ensure the products and\nsystems that are created by the local organization meet\nspecified requirements and customer expectations. Provides\nsupport to other functional teams as needed to perform tests\nprotocols. Ensures data are available according to ABB QO\nguidelines.\n2. Safety Utilizes safety systems to perform work, resulting in an\naccident-free workplace. Notifies others when unsafe situations\nare observed and work with local HSE teams to improve the\nsafety systems.\n3. Quality Control Works with department staff to improve existing test protocols\nand capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or\nreliability of test results.\n4. Utilize data Evaluates quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for\nthe determination of compliance with requirements.\n5.
