You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nExecuting purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.\nDesigning and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.\nSupporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.\nApplying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.\n Qualifications for the role :\nExperience of working with SAP ARIBA and operational procurement tools (RFx, E-sourcing, Order management) and the Energy and Power market.\nFull time engineering with 5 to 8 years of experience in Electrical procurement.\nPossess an enhanced knowledge in sourcing of Electrical components (Transformers, Switchgears, Power cables, Electrical houses, HVAC, Fire and Gas, etc.)\nEnsures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.\nMore about us :\nABB a provides a comprehensive range of integrated automation, electrical and digital systems and services for customers in the process, hybrid and maritime industries.
