Ensures the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the business(es). Executes assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI_Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India.\nYour responsibilities:\nApplies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in their own area of responsibility to secure On Time Delivery , quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability\nExecutes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.\nSupports the Procurement Manager in implementing effective local procurement strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.\nSupports alignment between local procurement activities and division strategy.\nYour Qualifications:\nBE/BTECH in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed engineering college.\nMinimum 5 years of related experience in Fulfillment /Procurement/ Purchase\nExperience in rotating electrical machines or HT Motors/Synchronous Generators.\nEffective communication skills.\nMore about us\nABB provides a comprehensive range of integrated automation, electrical and digital systems and services for customers in the process, hybrid and maritime industries.
