Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nProcurement Team LeadYour role and responsibilities:\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nReview purchase requisitions (PRs) for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.\nValidate material/service descriptions, specifications, MDF, quantities, pricing details, delivery requirements, cost centre’s, account assignments, and supporting documentation.\nEnsure all required approvals, budget validations, and procurement controls are in place prior to PO creation.\nLiaise with requestors and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve incomplete, inaccurate requisitions.\nMonitor PR work queues and prioritize requirements based on business criticality and agreed SLA timelines.\nQualifications for the role:\nFull- time engineering graduate with 3 to 6 years of experience.\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports covering PR-to-PO cycle time, backlog, ageing, transaction volumes, SLA adherence, and first-time-right processing.\nDevelop and maintain procurement dashboards, trackers, and performance metrics to support operational reviews.\nIdentify process bottlenecks, repetitive manual activities, and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and service levels.\nSupport process standardization, SOP maintenance, audit requirements, compliance activities, and root-cause analysis initiatives.\nLeverage SAP, Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Advanced Functions), and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement operations.\nMore about us:\nABB a provides a comprehensive range of integrated automation, electrical and digital systems and services for customers in the process, hybrid and maritime industries.
