Make it your story.\nYour Role: Own the Challenge\nProcurement Specialist-ensures implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Cost reductions and sourcing activities for indirect divisional materials and services, in Monterrey 3.0 site. Main stakeholders are maintenance, warehouse, manufacturing, HSE.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nSupporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.\nDesigning and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of indirect products/materials/services to reach business targets.\nUpdating data in SAP system (PIR, Price, Lead time, MOQ, etc) \nMonitoring on time delivery of materials.* Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.\nApplying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.\nCooperation with Purchasing - In cooperation with purchasing develop supplier relationships, purchasing to manage supplier daily performance.
