Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProduction Engineering Specialist__\nGeneral Responsibilities\nOptimizes the Production organization's assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.\nSystematically research advanced equipment and emerging technologies, collaborate closely with the Intelligent Manufacturing team to provide technical support and solution input for automation transformation and smart factory establishment.\nMain Accountabilities\nOverall Layout & Value Stream Map & Standard Operation Procedure & Standard Labor Time setup.\nConduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing production process, identify bottlenecks and waste points, propose and implement improvement measures to achieve process optimization.\nImplementing effective RCA to track improvement performance.\nDevelop standardized operation instructions (Sops) to ensure consistency and replicability of production operations and reduce human errors.\n According to the production needs, rationally plan the layout of the production line to ensure the smooth flow of materials and reduce the handling distance and time.\nDesign or improve fixtures, production auxiliary equipment, etc., to improve production efficiency and product quality.\nUse cost analysis tools to evaluate costs in the production process and identify cost savings opportunities.\nImplement cost control measures, such as reducing material loss, improving equipment utilization, etc., to achieve cost savings.\nEvaluates new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.\nLead or participate in lean production, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement projects to promote the continuous optimization of production systems.\nSetting up new production line together with intelligent manufacturing team.\nRequirements\nEducation Background\nBachelor’s degree or above, major in science and engineering, such as mechanical engineering, automation, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, electronic engineering, etc.\nWorking Experience\n3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Production lean improvement, Operation excellence and related field.\nHaving good improvement sense and solid improvement results.\nHaving good electrical safety sense and fully understanding electrical safety rules\nPosition Knowledge/Skills\nSound knowledge of Industrial Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing (lean production, automation).\nProficient in relevant computer software, such as SolidWorks, CAD (computer-aided design), ERP (enterprise resource planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), etc., to carry out process design, production scheduling and data analysis.\nParticipated in IE related projects, with actual project operation experience, able to independently complete the whole process of project planning to implementation.\nGood knowledge in medium voltage switchgear is preferred.\nLanguage Skills\nFluency in oral and written English.\nOthers\nExcellent communication, interpersonal and coordinating skills.\nSense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure: strong sense of responsibility and team spirit, able to work under certain pressure to ensure the smooth completion of work tasks.\nGood team-working spirit and ability to work independently under strong pressure.\nGood at learning new knowledge, new skills, adapting to industry development and technological change.\nResult-oriented mindset and focus on daily execution.\nMore about us\nABB is a technology-based provider of power and automation products, systems, solutions and services.
