Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProduction Engineering Manager__\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nWe are now looking for new Production Engineering Specialists to join our team in Smart Power, Vaasa. In these roles, you will have the opportunity to optimize the production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Your main role will be to maintain and increase production line availability and performance. You will be also part of developing our current automation solutions and participate in projects implementing new automation and digital solutions. Additionally, you will showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of production process to achieve the targeted production.\nYou work in close co-operation with production, maintenance and quality functions. The work model for the role is: onsite, the position involves two-shift work. \nAdditionally, you will be accountable for:\nProgramming, maintaining and developing robots on multiple automated production lines \nProduction process improvements and small modifications \nProviding support to production during internal, external processes or equipment start-ups, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources \nImplementing new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices. \nQualifications for the Role\nB.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree in Electrical, Automation or Mechanical Engineering field \nBasic programming skills and some prior experience in production automation \nA collaborative and solution-focused approach to work. \nGood written and spoken communication skills in Finnish \nLean Six Sigma certification is considered as a benefit \nBenefits\nOur culture and benefits reflect our values: courage, care, curiosity and collaboration.
