Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProduction Engineering Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDefines the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.\nEnsures appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.\nIdentifies and recommend improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.\nEnsures the production process complies with the project targets.\nApproves the design for processes developed internally or externally and performs final tests with respect to the project.\nProvides support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.\nEvaluates new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze equipment functional requirements, including production efficiency, precision, safety, and cost targets.\nDevelop equipment development plans and technical schemes, including process design, Layout design, mechanical structure design, electrical System, IT structure design.\nQualifications for the role\nBachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering. industrial engineer etc.\n8 years of relevant work experience in Lean production, process optimization, or new product/process development (experience in ACB & MCCB area is a plus).\nAbility to Design and lead the automation line, equipment planning, development & responsible for technical evaluation.\nProficient in AutoCAD and PFMEA tools.\nBe fluent in both written and spoken English Leadership on change management\nGood collaborating skills, problem-solving Skill\nDetail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.\nMore about us\nABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
