Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nOperations Manager__\nWe are seeking an experienced Production Planner Scheduler to develop and manage production schedules that support customer commitments, manufacturing capacity, and material availability.\nThis role serves as a key connection between Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, and Supply Chain, ensuring production plans are achievable and issues affecting delivery are identified and resolved.\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with competing priorities and frequent changes.\nThe work model for the role is:Onsite in Bartlesville, OK. #LI-Onsite\nYour role and responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasted demand, plant capacity, material availability, and manufacturing requirements.\n\nCoordinate material requirements and procurement timing to ensure raw materials and components are available to support production schedules.\n\nMonitor inventory, work-in-process (WIP), production progress, and capacity, identifying risks and taking action to prevent delays.\n\nManage planning activities for complex and custom orders, partnering with Project Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other functions to coordinate custom builds, materials, software, and manufactured units.\n\nIdentify and resolve production constraints, scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and other issues impacting quality, delivery, or production performance.\n\nMaintain planning data, production parameters, and reports within SAP or other business systems, ensuring information is accurate and actionable.\n\nAnalyze manufacturing processes, workflow, equipment utilization, and capacity to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.\n\nLead cross-functional problem solving and communicate priorities, risks, and solutions effectively with management, production employees, engineers, procurement, vendors, and other stakeholders.\n\nOur Team Dynamics\nOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here createsrealimpact out there.\nQualificationsfor the role:\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field\n\n5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, inventory management, or material requirements planning (MRP) within a manufacturing environment.\n\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and experience working with SAP or a similar enterprise planning system.\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.\n\nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally to identify problems, make decisions, and drive issues to resolution.\n\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USpermanently.\n\nPreferred\nExperience with APICS/ASCM, Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, or other manufacturing/supply chain methodologies.\n\nExperience planning and scheduling technical, electronic, instrumentation, or engineered-to-order products.\n\nExperience working with complex or custom manufacturing orders and coordinating activities across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Project Management.\n\nWhat'sin it for you\nWe empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.You’llgrow through meaningful work, continuous learning, and supportthat’stailored to your goals.
