Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProduction Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.\nThis role is contributing to the EL Smart power business in Xiamen China.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nOrganizes and allocates resources to effectively and efficiently meet line production targets. Responds to resource issues as necessary. Leads capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line. Collaborate with other supervisors to balance capacity vs demand.\nEnsures that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.\nIdentifies and recommends technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.\nEnsures execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines.\nIdentifies deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities, and oversees implementation of actions to improve production performance.\nManages the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.\nEnsures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.\nPromotes and develops safety actively and ensures that safety guidelines are followed.\nQualifications for the role\nBachelor degree or above, major in electromechanical/automation background is preferable. At least 2 years experiences in Production management or Industry Engineering;\nSwitchgear /Breaker Manufacture Experience is preferable, familiar with switchgear assembly process\nBroad knowledge of manufacturing process and latest production and technologies, such as lean manufacturing, 5S, quality gate\nFluent Chinese and good English both written and oral\nGood communication skills \nAbility to provide strong leadership and supervision of a team \nAbility to motivate and empower team members\nAbility to work independently and to take accountability\nAbility to use office software and SAP proficiently\nMore about us\nABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and\nmanufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
